We’re looking for a Business Development Manager with experience in tech/SaaS to join our fast growing startup.

This role is about building a pipeline of corporate customers and selling the benefits of the Feedr platform as something that will be transformative to their organisation.
We are a VC backed start-up (world class investors including those behind Transferwise, Nested, LoveFilm, Shazam & Carwow to name a few). We have grown 300% in the last 12 months with clients including the likes of AirBnB, PWC, DHL, Etsy and more . We are currently a team of 20 people and have recently been named as one of the top 100 UK startups in the 2018 Startups 100 list for the second year running.
About the Role
Feedr is looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive corporate sales. You will be responsible for generating and building opportunities, targeting decision makers (From Office Managers, PAs/EAs, to HR Managers and Executives) and educating them about Feedr’s great food vendors, sustainable menus and technology platform.
With each opportunity you will gather information about customer needs and really understand their requirements and motivations to pitch them the right solution. You will own and manage the entire sales process from lead generation through to trial and then contract signature before handing over to a member of our account management team.
You will take responsibility for the quality of all client presentations and proposals and keep up to date information in our CRM system. The sales cycle is short so you should be comfortable handling multiple pipeline opportunities simultaneously.
You will regularly collaborate with other internal teams to ensure a great customer experience. You will constantly be involved with bettering our processes and be responsible for reporting of actual vs budgeted sales and generating new business leads by attending various industry events and conferences.
We are looking for a candidate with at least 3 years of outbound B2B sales experience with a strong demonstrable track record of hitting sales targets. Ideally you will have experience selling into office managers/HR managers in organisations over 100 people and be excited about food and wellbeing.

This coupled with an extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices will make you great at lead generation, planning ahead and assessing own performance and that of the team.
Finally you will have superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal and a strong understanding of the product in order to propose and advise on services based on client requirements. Someone who prioritises effectively, sets goals and organises their workload would be a top performer in this role.
