    We are looking for a talented Business Development / Sales Manager to join our commercial team. The successful candidate will be part of a growing international company that is changing how doctors connect and learn.

    Job description:

    As a Business Development / Sales Manager, you will be working with clients in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries to identify opportunities to support their objectives through marketing and educational campaigns with MedShr. The role is office based in Central London with the opportunity to travel to clients and international conferences.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prospect new clients by networking, email, telephone, social media and other means of generating interest from potential clients
    • Identify opportunities for sales with new and existing MedShr clients
    • Build strong relationships with brand and medical teams
    • Pitch and write proposals for potential new clients
    • Manage sales pipeline and close commercial deals
    • Retain and grow existing client accounts by presenting and proposing improved solutions and services
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the MedShr Clinical and Community Teams to define clients’ needs and sell compelling programs to clients
    • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the market, MedShr solutions and services, competitor offerings and MedShr's differentiation

    Requirements:

    • You’re a talented, versatile and a commercially astute problem solver
    • You have considerable experience working in healthcare with either medical education, medical device or pharmaceutical experience  (>5 years)
    • You have a strong track record of winning new business from pharmaceutical or medical device companies
    • You have a deep understanding of physician engagement and medical education trends and new technologies 
    • You have experience of industry regulations in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors
    • You are comfortable working with a wide-range of stakeholders at a senior level
    • You build trust quickly and have a reputation for delivering successful solutions to meet clients’ needs
    • You are experienced in education and/or digital technology services
    • You have excellent presentation skills and are proficient with PowerPoint, Excel and Word
    • You have excellent leadership and communication skills
    • You have strong analytical skills
    • You can operate independently but are also a team player

    Desirable:

    • A degree within a medical or biological discipline or to be medically trained
    • Experience in Education, Digital and Social Media sales and marketing
    • Current or recent experience in a sales or business development position within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device or agency sector
