    About us

Digital Insight is an online due diligence platform that produces background profiles on companies and individuals in minutes. It is used by organisations to comply with Anti Money Laundering regulations, protect their reputation and ensure the values of their suppliers, donors, employees and customers align with their own. This depth and quality of information has historically only been possible using expensive and time- consuming human investigation. Digital Insight is using the very latest Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing technologies combined with proprietary methodologies and algorithms to provide fast and cost-effective due diligence on demand.

    The role

We are looking for a passionate front-end developer with a self-starting approach and a keen interest in data visualisation to join our small and super-dynamic team to help us build an awesome web-experience for the users of our data-centric platform. You will own the front-end of our product and be working to develop amazing, beautiful data visualisations, set within a responsive, well- structured modern web-app. We’re looking for someone with an ‘eye for design’ and experience building modern web-apps but most importantly, someone who can think and work creatively with complex data.

    Main responsibilities will include:

    • Good knowledge of modern Javascript: best practices, language constructs, asynchronous programming
    • Javascript and CSS tooling - transpilers, polyfills, bundling and package management (eg. SCSS, Typescript, npm, yarn, webpack, babel)
    • React and associated frameworks (eg Redux / MobX) (anticipate 2+ yrs commercial)
    • CSS and HTML: modern and principled approach to layouts
    • Proficient in at least one grass-roots java data visualisation framework (eg D3.js)
We are flexible on your exact level of experience. We’re going to need you to know your way around REACT (pitfalls, gotchas etc) but we don’t expect you to be an expert in everything and will provide all the training and resources you need to build not only incredible tech but also a strong and rewarding career.

This role is a full time, permanent position based in King’s Cross. Being a small company, candidates need to be able to work autonomously, be comfortable without micro-management, be flexible and find new solutions to problems.

    What we offer:

As well as being one of the hottest tech companies in London, we offer mentoring, training, and a warm team environment. The role will be based in our new office space in the heart of King’s Cross, with free barista coffee, beer, table football, and plenty of social activities. This is overlooking the canals in the newest IT sector in London which we like to call Silicon Canal.

    Could this be you?
