    Digital Insight is an online due diligence platform that produces background profiles on companies and individuals in minutes. It is used by organisations to comply with Anti Money Laundering regulations, protect their reputation and ensure the values of their suppliers, donors, employees and customers align with their own.

    This depth and quality of information has historically only been possible using expensive and time-consuming human investigation. Digital Insight is using the very latest Artificial Intelligence and

    Natural Language Processing technologies combined with proprietary methodologies and algorithms to provide fast and cost-effective due diligence on demand.

    The role

    This role is a full time, permanent position for an analyst with an interest in enhancing their technical skills to help Digital Insight’s customers derive value from our products, help develop, mature, and promote our products in the market.

    Main responsibilities will include:

    • Setting up new customers, ensuring they know how to use our system and triaging any problems they may have
    • Researching and articulating best practice, processes and problem solving around OSINT investigations
    • Performing due diligence activities, researching and evaluating new data sources to enrich our system
    • Testing the system once the logic has been coded, prioritising issues, and iteratively improving the results quality.
    • Promoting Digital Insight’s position on background checking, which is going beyond database checks for screening.
    • Responding to customer questions to improve satisfaction and shape product development

    Requirements for this role include:

    • A good working knowledge of IT including Windows, Mac OS, MS Office applications
    • A solid understanding of online information sources from news sites to social media and beyond. Experience of using these resources for research would be very valuable
    • An analytical mindset with the ability to break down large problems into smaller tasks and the ability to articulate the logic used to test and analyse the system
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with colleaguesand clients
    • An interest in developing technical skills
    • You must have the right to work in the UK, Digital Insight cannot sponsor visas at this stage
    Being a small company, candidates need to be able to work autonomously, be comfortable without micro-management, be flexible and find new solutions to problems.
