    Founders Factory are hiring for a Business Development Lead that can support our startup and corporate partnerships in the Financial Services and Deep Tech sectors. This role sits between commercial and technical skill sets requiring an understanding of scaling emerging technologies but also an appreciation of how large organisations think and work. Good candidates should have outstanding people skills, hustle, resilience and a deep curiosity for technology and startups.

    Responsibilities

    • The role is primarily focused on our Fintech and Deep tech sector
    • Building a great relationship with our portfolio founders and helping them with strategic advice; achieving product + market fit; pricing and supporting them close and manage pilots.
    • Working closely with our corporate investors to understand their industries and strategic interests, whilst managing their engagements with the portfolio.
    • Consultatively working with our corporate investors to uncover opportunity areas to co-build new companies in the incubator.
    • Utilising strong client and inter-personal skills to help us bring in the right external partners for our incubated and accelerated businesses

    Requirements

    • Ability to work at the cross section of technology and business. An understanding of both product and commercial decision making processes.
    • Knowledge, enthusiasm and interest in technology, start-ups and digital.
    • Experience managing client or senior executive relationships.
    • Understand the challenges and approaches of taking emerging technology to first customers
    • Nice to have: experience / understanding of the investment decision making process
