    Founder, Emily Sheffield, has twenty years experience in journalism, more recently Deputy Editor and Digital Director of British Vogue, Columnist at Evening Standard, and Sky News commentator. 

    We’re looking for an inspiring Head of Product, who has previously held a senior product position within a fast-paced start-up environment or similar to join us to the exciting journey of building an interactive global news community driving positive change. 


    • Your key area will be leading the vision and strategy of our product
    • You will define and manage the direction of growth of the product
    • You will be leading the incubation project from concept to MVP, testing hypotheses of market segments, business and experience models to identify and deliver competitive advantage
    • You will be responsible for defining, validating, prioritising and delivering the critical features and functionality of the product
    • You will be working with design and engineering teams to create new products across multiple platforms, putting them in the hands of real customers as quickly as possible 
    • You will design and implement robust processes to effectively deliver exceptional quality products, and create a culture of ownership and innovation
    • You will be responsible for executing the successful build and launch of this product 
    • You will have to understand how to leverage and integrate the proprietary technology of our partners into the solution
    • You will prioritise and communicate the product roadmap for the business
    • You will consolidate, prioritise and actioning feedback from funding partners, commercial and product teams
    • You will be responsible for ensuring quality in the product we put out using a data-driven approach


    • You have a proven track-record of successful delivery and execution, building high-quality, multi-device experiences across the entirety of the end-to-end user journey
    • You naturally develop hypotheses and test them rigorously
    • You are structured, analytical and data-driven, able to define and articulate a clear strategy and ensure that it is implemented effectively
    • You value user research and actively search out opportunities to understand customer needs for both quick wins and the basis of innovation (and love sharing the stories).
    • You are passionate about thinking (customer-first) and building easy-to-use products that delight users while driving value to the business
    • You have a love of building products that users rave about and working across different projects with lots of competing priorities at rapid pace
    • You thrive in uncertainty - ideally in an agency business and/or startup environment
    • You are intrigued by juicy product problems in search of elegant, simple solutions
    • You have knowledge of a range of current cross-platform product development frameworks 
    • You have an appetite for experimenting with new technologies and tools to drive innovation and creativityYou have a passion for making a real impact on customers’ lives
