What did you do before the factory?
After a degree in Politics, I started life in the advertising and marketing world. I spent nearly 4 years at Omnicom agency adam&eveDDB working with the likes of Heineken, Mars, Virgin Media and Volkswagen. With VW I helped create integrated campaigns for new models as well as launch their global innovation initiative in 2015. Following this I spent 3 years at the independent agency Joint. Here I focussed on bringing new financial products to market in the UK with TSB Bank, creating global campaigns for Amazon Prime and launching the Amazon Music Unlimited proposition across 5 markets. Along the way I worked with a VC in my spare time and advised start-ups across a variety of sectors.
What do you do at the factory?
My role is to help partner our Incubator and Accelerator startups with the Factory's corporate investors and partners. With a specific focus on Media and Education, I will be working closely with corporates to identify their challenges and opportunities within their business and match-matching them with our relevant portfolio companies. As a result I will be spending time unearthing insights from corporates and working on use cases with startups, whilst helping both sides navigate the Founders Factory ecosystem in order to acheive new commercial relationships.

Resilience and empathy - the two things I have learned along the way from working within successful Founder-led businesses.
