What did you do before the factory?
After graduating from the well esteemed New Entrepreneurs Foundation programme post university, I ran my own retail e-commerce start-up for two years. It was here I learned how to build a brand from nothing, with nothing, and how to capture the hearts and minds of consumers. Having sold as far afield as the US, Australia and China, with my products (British made handbags) being seen in national press regularly, I took the decision to close the brand and bring my skills to what is now one of the UK's fastest growing babywear start ups, and loved lifestyle brands, MORI. As Head of Brand, I created a large and highly engaged community, with impressive growth rates, repeat purchase rates, and consumers in over 50 countries. Most recently, I was part of Unilever's disruptive innovation team, helping to launch mass fragrance in fast-growing markets.
