What did you do before the factory?
My career to date has been in sitting on the other side of the table within the startup ecosystem, helping exciting early-stage startups to grow and scale and experiencing the ups and downs of working in a small company. Most recently, I worked as the Head of Partnerships at NearSt. This included building out the GTM strategy and helping support the CEO in fundraising. I also worked at Founders Factory's very own Headstart while studying at University.
What do you do at the factory?
As part of the investments team within our Fintech and AI sectors, my role is twofold: identifying the highest calibre of startups within those sectors to invest in and put through our programme; and supporting the fundraising of our portfolio companies in these verticals. This involves building relationships within the wider Investor ecosystem and attending lots of events to make sure we are the first ones to get a glimpse at the next unicorns.
