The problem

Around the world and across practically every industry, companies are looking for ways to leverage AI across their business. This has led to a sharp rise in ‘agents-as-a-service’, AI tools that cater towards specific industries and functions.

But enterprises face a number of key challenges when it comes to actually leveraging these AI agents, meaning they are missing out on its true potential. 90% of $5BN+ revenue companies remain at proof-of-concept or isolated capabilities in Gen AI, according to a report by EY.

Firstly, there is a distinct lack of customisability, making it harder for businesses to tailor solutions to their specific industry needs or use cases. A legal firm, for instance, may need an AI agent specialised in contract analysis, while an e-commerce company might need one focused on customer service. This lack of specialisation ultimately hinders effective adoption.

Secondly, integration with existing systems can be a nightmare. We see multinational corporations who struggle with deploying consistent AI strategy across different departments and geographical locations due to a lack of a unified, scalable AI platform.

All of this is overshadowed by a range of security and compliance concerns associated with cloud-based models. Many enterprises view this as one of the major barriers to fully integrating AI across their organisations.

The solution

DialogSphere is building the enterprise-grade solution for leveraging, integrating, and scaling generative AI. They have built an AI operating system allowing companies to quickly build and deploy customised, vertical AI applications. Through DialogSphere’s Agent-as-a-Service platform, companies can train AI agents on their own enterprise data, ensuring that their AI is tailored for specific use cases and functions. Moreover, the multi-agent feature ensures that agents are interoperable from one use case to the next, rather than having to build new agents for each task.

Crucially, they have developed a hybrid model of deployment, meaning that AI models are deployed either on-premise or via multi-cloud single tenant, creating not just seamless integration that is secure and data compliant.  This is of particular value to regulated industries, like financial services and insurance, which will be a particular area of focus.

To begin, they are focusing on marketing as a function, before developing for other core business functions. They are already working with a number of global companies, including Enova and Loescher.

Why we’re excited to invest

Edoardo Gentili, investor at Founders Factory, says: “DialogSphere's approach aligns perfectly with two major trends we're seeing: the increasing demand for secure, customizable AI solutions in enterprises, and the shift towards AI-driven workflow integration. Their experienced team, with a track record of successful exits, demonstrates the capability to execute on this vision. We believe DialogSphere is well-positioned to capitalise on the growing vertical AI market, especially as businesses seek to harness AI's power while maintaining control over their sensitive data”
